The first wedding I ever booked! The hand flopped on the head. 😂

Forever grateful to this group of girls for trusting me and making me fall in love with bridal makeup!

My husband, Anton & I met in 2018 while I was traveling in Europe. We crossed paths in his hometown, Lviv, Ukraine. Next thing we know— we’re dating long distance, engaged one year later, about to get married— then COVID hits. Just about a month before our wedding, borders closed and we were separated for 13 months. (Me in USA and him in Ukraine!)

As soon as the borders opened we got him a flight, planned a wedding and got married 30 days later!

Anton and I got married in December of 2020. Our ceremony and reception were in my childhood home. Because Zoom was now a normal thing, all of our friends and family from all over the world were able to join in which was lovely!

It was rainy, freezing and not what we were planning, but we wouldn’t change a thing!

Our “reception” was dinner at home with 10 people total. I made lasagna, we ate wedding cake and spent the night laughing, dancing and taking polaroids.

I am a major animal lover… so the family pets were obviously included too. 😜

Considering I am a bridal makeup artist, you’d think I would have put a lot of thought into my wedding makeup. 😅

I just woke up that morning, turned on Father of the Bride (my fav movie), and did what I felt in the moment!

We have two cats and a bunny. August (gray cat), Fig (beige cat), Puff (the bun).

They all love each other and hang out together. You’ll see them on my Instagram from time to time. 😉

I absolutely LOVE flowers and love to grow them. Back in PA, I had a cut flower garden filled with dahlias and other blooms. The dahlias were like my babies, I grew over 12 varieties! Here is a photo of some of them. 🌼

Anton & I love to travel! Italy definitely has my heart. But I love seeing new places and experiencing different cultures (and food), everywhere we visit has its own beauty!
